   In Psalm 139, we find that each one of us is fearfully and wonderfully made by God. God is the One who has created us and God does not make mistakes. Therefore, each of us has been created with meaning, value and purpose. At First Baptist Maiden we want to help people discover the value that God places on each one’s life and to help people better understand the meaning and purpose that God has placed upon each individual life.   

   In Ephesians 4 we discover that God has also created us to be a part of something greater than ourselves. As an individual, we can maintain a personal relationship with God, but we can never fully become who God intends for us to be on our own. God invites us to become a part of the Body of Christ through the local church. Together we can become something greater than ourselves. Through the church we become the Body of Christ as each part does its work.

   First Baptist invites you...
   ...to be a part of the Body of Christ through our local ministry. We want to help you discover how you fit into God’s plan and how you might function within this body of believers. God equips every believer with gifts and talents that God intends to be use for His purposes. First Baptist wants to help you discover your gifts and how you can best use them within the Body of Christ. You are important to God and to us, and together we can fulfill the great purposes of God.
