This year we are planning a Sunday of Remembrance, Reverence and Hope on October 13th. The term Ingathering comes out of agricultural community and background. The idea is after harvest you bring God your first and best.
We are using this Ingathering as a fundraiser for our faith-fund. As we remember the past, we must honor and praise God and be faithful to our task of giving to finish this project as we look forward in our hope of what God will do next- with and through our church.
We have a lot of events planned for the day including outdoor worship, bbq lunch, and an auction. (We need donations and also deep pockets to purchase said donations). There will also be many afternoon events for everyone as we enjoy the day together. Events for the day will include: pre-sold bbq plates for lunch, auction, games for adults and kids, food, photo opportunities, snacks, corn-hole tournament and so much more. There will be something for everyone! A schedule will be posted closer to the event, but please make plans to attend and invite a friend or two to come along with you! It’s going to be a good time.
